Physicians from across the globe will be attending the upcoming Osler Symposium in Alburquerque, NM May 14- May 20th.  Ryan and I will kick off the conference with a screening of the Vanishing Oath. Plenty of R & R and tips on how to survive in medicine today. PLUS lots of gratitude to all of our hard-working physicians.  What will they think of next???

Dear Physicians, 

Thank you for deciding at such a young age to devote your intellect to something that would benefit all of humanity.  

Thank you for surviving the food chain of medical school. How I wish the camaraderie and support you might have experienced in residency would continue throughout your career. 

Thank you for becoming licensed to practice medicine.  Nobody knows the sacrifice it took for you to accomplish this goal unless they have done the same. 

Thank you for trying to help strangers even when they might make it difficult for you to do.

Thank you for being a beacon of light when there seems no shore in sight.
