Dear Physicians, 

Thank you for deciding at such a young age to devote your intellect to something that would benefit all of humanity.  

Thank you for surviving the food chain of medical school. How I wish the camaraderie and support you might have experienced in residency would continue throughout your career. 

Thank you for becoming licensed to practice medicine.  Nobody knows the sacrifice it took for you to accomplish this goal unless they have done the same. 

Thank you for trying to help strangers even when they might make it difficult for you to do.

Thank you for being a beacon of light when there seems no shore in sight.

On behalf of my family, friends and strangers, thank you for being the noble people that you are.
