There are people we have met along this film journey that stand out like beacons. John Principe, MD, and Ryan Gerber from Chicago are 2 of them.

A few years back, John was deeply discouraged and contemplating leaving his medical practice for the myriad reasons doctors do. He heard about The Vanishing Oath, ordered a copy and watched it 5 times...maybe more. After that, he sat down and sent us one of the most heartfelt emails we have ever received.

This is the part that I love – and it seems to be happening more and more - the film was a defining moment for John. Determined to reshape his medical practice he pursued a goal that had long been buried beneath his volumes of paperwork. John and fellow professional chef, Ryan Gerber, built the first WellBeing MD Center for Life , complete with a professional demonstration kitchen.

One by one, his patients are reducing the amount of medications they take and, in some cases, they are off medication altogether. They are getting well in every physical, emotional and spiritual sense. It is inspiring to hear them talk about their lives before and after Dr. Principe.

The media is lining up and Dr. John Principe's love of medicine and wellness has been reborn.

That the film can offer doctors a rope and bring into our lives some of the finest human beings we will ever know…then every uphill climb has been worth it.
